The Bicycle in the Circular Economy: Repair, Reuse and Sustainable Design
  1. Students understand the principles of the circular economy through a real-life example: repairing and reusing bicycles.
  2. Students develop practical skills for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining bicycles or bicycle parts.
  3. Students create a project-based solution such as a “Bicycle of the Future”, a “School Bike Station”, or a “Repair Instead of Replace” campaign.
  4. Students reflect on the environmental, social and economic benefits of extending product life.
